noodles with crab sauce

zoodles with crab sauce, gluten free, paleo, kept, no carb

This main dish is delish!! You can make it under 15mins, so to me this is a very easy fast food recipe that is still kept, paleo and low carb! The sauce is creamy and rich and i must admit, i garnished it with parmesan cheese, but in Italy this is against all etiquettes on eating pasta dishes, but then again, it is not even pasta so what the hell!!

PREPARATION & COOKING TIME: 15 mins

INGREDIENTS for 2 portions:

2 courgettes, spiralised

180gr mixed white and brown crab meat

20gr butter

100ml double cream

1 small shallot diced

50ml white wine

1/2 tspn salt

pinch of fresh red chilli

  • spiral the courgettes and place under the grill for 5 mins to dry the excess liquid
  • in the meantime prepare the sauce by sautéing the shallots in the butter for couple of minutes in a medium pan
  • add the white wine and reduce the liquid to half
  • add the double cream, salt and chilli
  • once the courgettes are ready, add them to the sauce pan, toss for a few minutes and serve in pasta bowls
