
Basil pesto is a typical Italian sauce that you can use as topping for pizzas, sauce for pasta and I also spread it on focaccia or burgers. It is rich in flavour and very easy to make and I always have it in the fridge!
Preparation: 10 mins
Ingredients for 200gr:
60gr fresh basil
20gr parmesan cheese
0.5 teaspoon salt
2 cloves garlic
75ml extra virgin olive oil
20gr pinenuts
- place all the ingredients in a robot, mini piper or blender and blend until you get a very smooth paste

- place in a clean glass jar and put olive oil on top to prevent the sauce from getting black
- store in the fridge- it keeps for 1 week
