This is a very delicious snack/ meal made with teff toasted sourdough and a quick mashed avocado. In order to be a snack you need to have the bread ready. I prepare mine, slice it and freeze it, so I can defrost as required. I added quite a few spices, as I have them at home all the time and they give the smashed avocado a very nice taste, but add to it what you have at home and what you like.
PREPARATION & COOKING TIME: 10 mins
INGREDIENTS for 2 slices:
2 slices Teff & Oat sourdough bread (click here for recipe)

¼ teaspoons each cajun & garlic salt
Splash of lemon juice
Zaatar and sumac for topping
- Toast sourdough on both sides
- In the meantime, smash the avocado with a fork, add the garlic salt, lemon and cajun and stir well
- Once toast ready, top with the avocado and sprinkle on top the sumac and zaatar, be generous with the zaatar as the thyme and sesame seeds are lovely
